Feng Shui & Vastu Shastra

Some rooms hold you.
Others push you away.

You've felt it. You walk into a space and something settles — you breathe easier, you relax, you think: this feels right. Other times you walk in and can't explain why you want to leave. That's not random. That's the space talking. I grew up learning how to listen to it.

Where This Comes From

My mother could walk into any room and know what was wrong with it. Not the paint color or the furniture — the feeling. She understood that the way a space is arranged changes everything about how you live inside it. Where the entrance faces. Where the kitchen sits in relation to the rest of the home. Which direction the bedroom windows open. How light moves through a room at different times of day.

In 2015, we built a home together from the ground up. Every decision was intentional. She placed our bedrooms on the east side so the sun would wake us before any alarm. The kitchen faced a direction that invited gathering. The altar room sat where the energy felt most still. Nothing was accidental — and you could feel it the moment you walked in. The house didn't just look right. It felt right.

That's what I carry with me. Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra aren't theories I read about — they're how I grew up. They're in the way I see a room, the way I feel a home, the way I understand what a space owes the people who live in it.

It's not about rules. It's about attention — the kind my mother had, the kind I've spent my whole life learning.

What a Consultation Looks Like

I walk through your space — slowly, carefully, the way my mother taught me. I'm not checking boxes on a form. I'm feeling the room. Noticing how light enters. Where energy moves and where it gets stuck. What the layout invites and what it blocks.

Room Orientation

How each room sits in relation to the compass, the sun, and the rest of the home — and whether those relationships serve the people living there.

Furniture & Flow

Where furniture should live so a room breathes. How a bed position changes your sleep. How a desk placement shifts your focus. Small moves, real differences.

Entrance & First Impressions

What you feel the moment you walk through the front door sets the tone for the entire home. I evaluate whether your entrance welcomes or deflects.

Kitchen & Gathering Spaces

The kitchen is the heart. I look at how it's positioned, how energy flows through it, and whether it naturally draws the household together.

Light & Sightlines

Where your eye goes when a door opens. How natural light moves through the day. Whether windows are working for you or creating imbalance.

Corrections & Adjustments

If something feels off, I suggest practical shifts — repositioning furniture, clearing sightlines, redirecting flow. Often it's simpler than you'd expect.

It Works. People Feel It.

The home I live in now has been rearranged more times than I'll admit. Every time I shifted something — the direction my bed faced, the placement of a mirror, where I sit to work, how the living room breathes — I felt the difference. And not in a vague, abstract way. In the quality of my sleep. In how productive a morning became. In whether I wanted to stay in a room or leave it.

Friends started noticing. They'd visit, feel the change, and ask what I did. So I started doing it for them — walking through their homes, their flats, their condos. Suggesting shifts. Rearranging. And every time, the same response: the space feels different now. Not because the furniture is new. Because the energy changed.

That's what I offer. Not a mystical promise. A practical, felt difference in how your home supports the life you're living.

A home should work for you — not the other way around. When a room is arranged with intention, you feel it the moment you walk in. And you feel it every morning after.

Who This Is For

You already own a home and something about it doesn't feel right — a room you avoid, a layout that fights you, a space that never settled the way you hoped. I'll walk through it with you and suggest changes that shift how it feels.

You're buying a home and you want someone who evaluates properties through a different lens — not just square footage and price, but whether the space has harmony. I do this naturally as part of my buyer representation.

You're selling a home and you want it staged with intention — arranged so buyers feel something the moment they walk through the door. I incorporate this into my seller services.

You're just curious and you want to understand your space better. That's reason enough. There's no minimum commitment — we start with a conversation.

My understanding of Feng Shui and Vastu Shastra comes from my culture, my family, and years of practice — in my own home and in the homes of people who've asked for my eye. I offer this as a personal skill rooted in lived experience.

What People Say

From People Who've Worked With Me

I asked Dichenla to look at our apartment after we had been feeling off in the space for months. She rearranged the living room, moved the bed to face east, and suggested we open up a blocked window. Within a week the energy in the house completely shifted. My husband noticed it before I even told him what changed.

She came over and just walked through the house slowly, room by room. Then she told me my kitchen was fighting the rest of the home. She was right. The corrections were small - a mirror, a plant, the stove position - but the difference was immediate. I cook in there every day now. Before, I avoided it.
